Safeguarding
We take the safety of our children, young people and vulnerable adults very seriously. We want to do the best we can to make sure that everyone who takes part in any of our groups or activities is as safe as they can be. We believe that safeguarding is everybody's responsibility.
If you are a child, young person or vulnerable adult and are worried about anything, you can talk to:

the person running the activity

one of people under Contacts at the bottom of this page, or

someone outside the church such as Childline by ringing 0800 1111 or clicking its logo on the right.
If you think that a child, young person or vulnerable adult may be in immediate risk of harm, you should contact the police on 999 (emergency) or 101 (less urgent).

Our policy
We follow the Church of England's Safeguarding policy and practice guidance in promoting a safer church.
If you volunteer to work with children or vulnerable adults, we will therefore ask you to undertake an online DBS check. This is free of charge and likely to take under 30 minutes. We'll also need to see three forms of personal ID. The process normally takes a week.
We aim to offer training to all our Safeguarding volunteers regularly.
