Groups and Societies

Gawsworth Parish Church hosts and supports the following groups and societies as part of our extended community outreach and support activities.  If you are a member of the congregation, or have recently moved  into the area, and are interested in one (or more) of our groups, more information can be found at the links below. 

Church Choir

Services at Gawsworth Church are complimented by our wonderful Men & Women's choir, featuring members of the congregarion with a passion for singing.

The Prayer Book Society

The Prayer Book Society brings together those who value the Book of Common Prayer – to promote, celebrate, and study one of the most transformational Christian books after the Bible ever seen.

Melanesian Mission

The Melanesian Mission is an Anglican mission agency that provides support to the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACoM), through Prayer, People and Giving

200 Club

This 200 Club Fund raising was established in 2002.  We began with almost 100 members, many of whom are still lending their support.

Friends of Gawsworth Church

This is a Charity set up to help look after and maintain out beautiful Church of  St James and the Churchyard.
